Question: Question:Q:HomePod Siri can no longer set temperature after updating to 13.4

My Homepods will not set the temperature on the iDevices thermostat ever since 13.4. I can still change the temperature with my iPhone and MacBook. On the HomePod, however, instead of saying “Ok, I’m lowering the temperature from 70 to 66,” it just says “I’ve changed the temperature?” But it does nothing.

I’ve rebooted both homepods and the thermostat, but it still won’t work. Used to work flawlessly. Still flawless on other devices, just won’t work on homepods.

I’m hoping it doesn’t come to that, since everything else works perfectly. They can turn lights on and off, TVs on and off, play music, podcasts, alarms work. Timers, everything else works. In fact, if I ask what the temperature is, it will tell me from the thermostat, but it won’t change the temperature (even though it says it is).

What has me wondering what else it could be is that both HomePods are doing the exact same thing (can’t change temperature, can do everything else).

Hi, did you ever get a answer to this? The same thing happened to me with my ecobee thermostat.

Siri no longer tells me that Che changed the temp from ? To ?, instead just says “I’ve set the temperature”

I have an ecobee. I can still change the temp through the HomeKit pull up menu though.
