Question: AppleTV

My 1st. Generation AppleTv will no longer connect to any of my copies of iTunes on my three Macs. What it is trying to do is connect to a AppleTV Cable Channel. This is totally unacceptable. If no one can give me an answer for this, I'm going to recycle my AppleTV. And I'll do this by beating it to small bits with a 5Lb. Sledge Hammer. I have no mode of transportation, so this is my only option.

If your Apple TV is a 4" black box, then it is at least 2nd generation.

Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

The Apple TV (1st generation) is obsolete. It will not sync with iTunes v12.6.3 or later. It will also not connect to the online iTunes Store anymore since May 2018. It never supported third party services other than YouTube, which it lost in 2015.
