Problem while adding payment

I have a problem to add payment to my apple account. At first when I entered all the option and press next, there would be a message that payment method not valid, something like that. But now when I try to open manage payments there is a message "we've run into a problem please try again later". I really don't know what to do. Please help...

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203005

 

You can get Apple telephone support  for help in solving your problem using this link https://getsupport.apple.com/?caller=kbase&PGF=PGF63005&category_id=SC0245&symptom_id=23362 Be patient sometimes Apple support is closed to immediate phone support.

Take this Up with Apple:

For financial assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. These are User-to-User forums. You are not speaking with Apple Here. We are just everyday Apple users like you.


So, here is the info on doing so...


I. Contact Apple Support:

A. Phone Support Info:


B. Chat Session Info:

Being that phone calls are taking a moment, perform a chat session with Apple Support.

Setting Up the Cat Session:

  1. Go to: support.apple.com
  2. Scroll Down to "Tell us how we can help"
  3. Select: Get Support
  4. Proceed from there as Necessary


II. Note: Phone Calls are Currently a Wait:

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, phone calls are taking a lot longer than usual. So, take this up with Apple, despite how long it may take to get on the phone. With many out of work, and many home from school, phone calls will likely take a while to go through — so, just stay on the line. Ask the Apple Rep — they’ll see this and will run you through the fix. Chats are taking a bit longer too.

"Inconsistency" is the Culprit:

Trying this twice, with two different outcomes, let Apple know of this inconsistency.


So, report this as a bug to Apple:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Proceed from there as necessary.

Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.
