Apple Watch disconnects using Wi-fi calling

And this always happens when making a call? If so, try resetting the Watch first. Press and hold the Digital Crown and the power button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The Watch will reboot. Unlock and check again after connection.

I’ve also had this problem ever since I’ve had my Apple Watch. I’ve tried resetting, unpairing and re-pairing and this is still an issue. What can I do to keep the call from disconnecting 2-3mins into my conversation? (Even when WiFi is strong and phone is in my pocket)

Yes definitely connected to a 2.4ghz

Are you making the call from the Watch without the paired iPhone nearby? Have you checked the wi-fi connection to the Watch if that is the case?

Make sure that you are connected to a 2.4 Ghz and not to the 5Ghz wifi connection.
