I locked my iPad up because I couldn't remember password

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

I want to change my iMac order and payment But I cant't get into the Order or the Barkleys card . I know my apple ID and Password, but it doesn't work, keeps returning to ID and Password screen. I think because I tried to may times. how do I release it and try again?

Iv locked myself out of my ipad and cant get in. it now says to connect to itunes and it wont do anything can you help me please.
