External Display Brightness Issue

I am using an Asus PA27AC with my Mac as external monitor. But i cant change the brightness of asus monitor from my Mac.

If anybody have experience with this monitor please help.

Hi, it happens because the monitor detects that de Mac signal is HDR and when HDR is ON in the PA27AC all the options are disabled. Try unchecking HDR in displays option in System preferences. It works for me to change brightness manually.

In general, MacOS doesn`t "speak" with 3rd party displays. I can see that the Asus PA27AC has buttons on the side, so hopefully you can adjust the brightness/contrast there.

Thanks for your reply. But when I connect my monitor with Mac, monitor brightness and resolution option are automatically showing disable. So there is no way to control brightness.
