Since it's not a startup item, why does iTunes keep booting up automatically?

I can't seem to find the reason - can you help?

Thanks, Tom

Hi there Tom Meade1,

It sounds as though iTunes is launching during startup, here is a resource below that can help:

Open items automatically when you log in on Mac

If iTunes is not listed as a login item within system preferences , right click the iTunes application from your dock. After right clicking the application hover your cursor over options and there may be a "Open at Login" option that can be deselected.

I hope this helps,

Cheers!
