Iphone stuck on connect to itunes, but not working

My iphone is stuck on connect to itunes, and it is not working when I connect. It says an unknown error occurred. Anyone know what can help?

Update the Windows or Mac system to current and check for iTunes updates, reboot and try again:

If you’ve already followed that, and tried the update and the reboot, contact Apple Support using the link in the upper right.
