iPad 7th gen bent and broken lcd
My brothers iPad 7th gen got bent somehow and the lcd cracked too. The iPad is under the 1 year Apple warranty. Will this damage be covered under the warranty and if not how much will it cost to replace or fix?

Apple does NOT repair customer iPads. They supply in-warranty/out-of-warranty replacement iPads.
The free, 1-year standard, limited AppleCare warranty only covers manufacturing issues and NOT any accidental/incidental damages by the user.
You would’ve needed to purchase extended AppleCare+ at the time of purchase or within 60 days of initial purchase.
Now you will have to pay a more expensive, out-of-warranty, replacement iPad, in lieu of an actual iPad repair.
That will cost you approx. 60% of that iPad's original purchase price, now.
If you had purchased the $70 U.S.D. extended AppleCare+ for that iPad, a replacement iPad would have only cost you a smaller, $49 U.S.D. replacement device fee.
