Can nail tapping sounds damage iPad Pro speakers?

So the thing is that people in Zoom calls keep tapping the screens with nails and it produces unpleasant loud “popping” sounds (same like in the video in the link lower). So I’m worried if those sounds can damage the speakers. Or is it safe? Or should I stop using my iPad for these calls to prevent damage?

Distortion can occur when the amplified signal becomes greater than the electronics can handle - leading to a phenomenon known as “clipping”. This can, in extreme circumstances lead to damage of audio transducers (such as your speakers), but for practical purposes is perhaps unlikely to occur unless your push your volume setting to maximum.
