I need Windows Support drivers for iMac 2017

I recently wiped my Windows partition (external drive) due to instability after updates.

I also lost my Windows Support drivers in the process.

Downloads from Bootcamp Assistant 6.1 (Sierra) does not give a full complement. Now my new Windows 10 Home Edition has no WIFI and Sound. Not sure what else is missing.

May I request anyone who has that Windows Support download to send me a copy? Apple Support will not make this available. They require me to upgrade to Catalina and use newest Bootcamp for downloads.

I do not wish to deal with Catalina restrictions on my older softwares. So I am not going to upgrade my OS.

Thanks.

Using Brigadier, I get...

		<ProductManufacturer>Apple Inc.</ProductManufacturer>
		<ProductVersion>6.1.7866</ProductVersion>
		<ProductCode>{FCFFE6B6-BAE8-490E-88D0-097A9DA1C43D}</ProductCode>

and the structure looks like...

This does not show the drivers from the older version I have.

  • Does Apple Software Update in Windows provide the drivers that you need?
  • Does Windows Update provide the drivers you need?
  • The dates of the older version are March, 2017, while the newer package is dated April, 2020.

I use this method. However, there were only Broadcom ethernet and bluetooth drivers, no wireless driver at all; Audio drivers were installed by AMD but didn't work.

I found Broadcom wireless drivers and installed them separately but nothing appeared in the Network Adapters inside Device Manager. I also did the same for Cirrus drivers without success.

Thanks for responding.

Thanks for keeping up with me.

I have upgraded to Mojave, the Bootcamp download are the same.

I ran Brigadier but the App closed after some command line window running something for 1 second.

I managed to find a Boot Camp 5.1.640 with Broadcom and Cirrus drivers which I tried installing without a favourable result.

May I request you to share with me the downloads that contain the Broadcom Wireless and Cirrus drivers?

This will help me know if I have exhausted all my options, maybe its the Windows OS that is giving problems. I am installing on an external drive using WinToUSB. I already tried on 2 different ISO images (1903 and 1607). Bootcamp setup for Windows Support didn't complete in the latter.

I also tried running DrivertoolKitInstaller but the software quit after it is unable to get on internet.

Thanks.
