"Network Changed Detected, Failed", "Network Disconnected", and DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN while browsing

My new mac running Catalina is having the above issues which make it difficult to browse the web and download any file that takes more than a few seconds to download. My Dell XPS 15, Acer Predator, and Windows Desktop do not have the same problem. The Acer and Dell are wifi and at the same table as my mac while the desktop is wired in. So far i've rebooted, reset  SMC, PRAM or NVRAM and change the DNS setting as well as performed the wifi diagnostics. Some screenshots below of what I see in addition to the error messages I listed in the subject line. Some websites recover ok, many just show an error and I have to reload the page repeatedly

As a software engineer who works on networked apps this is particularly problematic for debugging reasons.

Hello captainavi,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with accessing web pages and downloading files. I'd be happy to share information that may help.

First, start up in safe mode to see if the issue continues there: How to use safe mode on your Mac.

Next, test in another user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.

Finally, take a look at the information here: If Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing.

Take care.
