I Watch series 3 Memory

hi, i've purchased apple watch series 3 recently after the price dropped, in online it showed watch memory capacity is 8 Gb but aftr pairing it is showing 4.8Gb only. shouldn,t it be 8GB?

No,thats because the watch's operating system takes up a fair chunk of that.
