Can I add a second 3.3 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon W to my Mac Pro (2019)?

No. All processor chips used are one-chip solutions. There is no spare socket.


To upgrade, convert that computer to cash (by selling it) and use the cash to buy a computer that better meets your needs.


When your machine is brand new and expensive, it is complete folly to take it apart and swap processor chips. If something goes wrong, you could end up with a ten thousand dollar pile of electronic junk.
