iphone 6 not connecting to iFinder and I can't back up

I have purchased an iPhone 11 and am trying to back up my iPhone 6 , using my Mac, ahead of setting up the 11. The 6 is seen in iPhotos but not in iFinder (my Mac is on Cantolina). I successfully backed up my husband's 6 in iFinder.

Can someone please recommend how to address my backup issue so that I can move onto my lovely 11.

(I have a number of apps and photo's that I want copied across)

Please disregard this.

A simple restart of my 6 fixed the issue.
