How to import events and projects (2015) in FCP 10.4.8 ?

Hi,

Finaly, I found old couple of projects created in 2015 using fcp on an old hard drive.

I’ve tried to open CurrenVersion.fcpproject but unfortunately, does not match with the current version ,(

Is there someone to help us to open it in fcp 10.4.8  please ?

How to Open iMovie Project from January 2017 using iMovie 10.1.x I have an old iMovie library full of projects I did. I have been unable to access them through iMovie. I don't remember exactly what version of iMovie I had. The timestamp on the project I want to upgrade shows it was created January 2017. I suspect I was using iMovie 10.0 to make that project. Now I have iMovie 10.1.14. I vaguely remember an update of iMovie with an opporutnity to upgrade those old projects. I put it off to save time, but now I cannot figure out how to upgrade any of those projects to edit them. Can you tell me how to do this?

Project file I create d anew project file last week, named it, added some audio and a few pics. Today, when i open FCP, it is no where to be found. I've never had this happen before. Any idea where to find it? All the assets are on a an external hard drive and that is connected...

It's no longer possible. Apple had a trial version of FCP 10.2.3 available that you could run on an older version of the OS, but now even that's been removed. So unless you still have v10.2.3 and an OS like Sierra (I think that was the last one what would run it) there's no way it can be done.
