does the new ipad cover and keyboard for the ipad pro provide a straight up and down angle for video calls

Both the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard and new Magic Keyboard with Trackpad are oriented for Landscape operation of the iPad. Both connect to the iPad Smart connector - and as such, the relative orientation of the keyboard to the iPad is fixed.
