iphone 11 screen repair

Hello my iphone 11 screen got cracked on the left corner and there some missing glass pieces right in the corner between the black line and the screen,I got AppleCare so I took my phone to an authorized Apple repair sprint location but they told me they aren’t able to fix it because Apple don’t allow them to fix the screen when there’s missing glass, my question is would Apple be able to replace my screen even if there’s some missing glass on it?
