Hi I have a mac book pro and i wan't to update to catalina but my computer refuses to update. I have tried everything that i know. I wen't to the app store and tried it there, but i always get a message saying that my mac is up to date. i have tried combo updates and my mac says you need 10.15 to run this. i really do not know what to do, may someone please help me?

“headline“ say? i.e. which version of
the OS do you have now?
i have mojave 10.14.6
Run this command in the Terminal then reopen System Preferences > Software Update.
sudo softwareupdate --reset-ignored
if you haven’t already it might be good to run Disk Utility.
Resetting PRAM may be required.

it’s in your Utilities folder.
Click once on Desktop
Go appears in (top) File menu
Under it see Utilities.
