I’ve connected a 2016 MacBook Pro with a 1TB SSD (on Mojave) to a 2020 MacBook Pro with a 1TB SSD using the thunderbolt cable and both laptops plugged into power. I’m migrating everything to the new MBP. but after 7 hours they seem to be stuck. The screens show the following with no change in status: Thoughts? Or just wait?

I deleted the "local name" of my old laptop and retried Migration Assistant and it sorta worked. However, it did not migrate any of the files and documents in my home folder, or if it did they are hidden and I can't find them. Will try to restore them from TimeMachine next.
