I’ve always been able to use my Apple wallet passes via my Apple Watch. Today I went to the store without my watch. I tried to use Apple Pay, Apple Cash, and ChargePoint passes but no luck. It’s as if the nfc is turned off or broken on my iPhone XR. I see in other posts that there is no on off for nfc. How do I troubleshoot this? Thanks!

I understand that you are able to use Apple Wallet via your Apple Watch, however not on your iPhone.
I would recommend removing your cards/passes and re-adding them, ensuring they are verified. You can learn how to do so here: Set up Apple Pay.
Since the cards will have been removed from all your devices, you will also need to re-add and re-verify them for your Apple Watch.
If the issue persists, I would ensure you have a backup of your date, then Reset All Settings. You can learn how to do so here: Return iPhone settings to their defaults.

I cannot remove my Apple Card or Apple Cash passes, not an option on my phone when i edit passes.
