Same thing just happened with my daughters iPhone X a couple weeks ago. Now she’s got the black screen of death. When you plug it in you hear the charging noise and battery gets warm as it’s charging, but screen stays black. Tried all the tricks with system resets and such. Hope you only have the green line so you don’t experience this also.
