In Pages v10.0, is it possible to use the Find & Replace feature to find a certain word and replace it with an italicized or bolded version of that word?
(example: Find Mary and replace with Mary )

thanks, Barry. I can dust off Word for these rarely needed things like this, and then paste it back to Pages. Thanks for the quick reply 👍.
Be aware that Word and Pages may not support features of the other application, or may both have a similar feature supported differently. Either will result is differences between the original document in one application and the translated version in the other.

Not unless Apple has changed the Find/Replace feature.
It finds and replaces text only, with the replacement text adopting the format settings of the location it is dropped in.
