My IPhone 7 is saying “Mobile Data Update Failed”

What causes the iPhone to go from working perfectly fine to then saying “mobile data update failed”. The phone doesn’t show where any updates are needed.

I then connected it to iTunes via a computer and tried reinstalling the iOS. The phone worked perfectly for one day and went back to demanding the same update again.. any assistance will be appreciated on how to fix this problem
