I have an iPhone X. I recently had to log out of my iCloud one day. A week later, when I signed back into my iCloud, I found out all my saved passwords were gone. I don’t remember if the keychain was on or off at the time and whether that would affect it. But I would like to know if there is a way to get them all back. My phone was backed up before I signed out of my iCloud.
Do you remember when logging out of iCloud that you were asked if you wanted the passwords from Keychain to be kept or removed, and do you remember what you chose? It’s possible that you chose to remove which would mean they were deleted.
The only thing it asked me when I signed out was if I wanted to keep a copy of Data on the device which is said Yes to. That was it. Never got asked about keychain.
