Live Wallpaper

I have the new iphone SE, and I've been trying to put on a live wallpaper but it won't let me. How do you out a live wallpaper on?

iPhone SE, iOS 11

The document you mentioned was published on December 9, 2019, which means the new iPhone SE has not been released when the document was released, which means that the “iPhone SE” mentioned here is the iPhone SE(1st generation), not the iPhone SE 2020.

For these reasons, I believe the document you mentioned and your answer is helpless.

I've read that it doesn't have live wallpaper because that requires 3D

which the iphone SE 2 doesn't have. iPhone SE 2 has replaced that with

hapic touch. 3D is now eliminated from the Apple lineup. it does have

dynamic wallpaper though which is even better in my opinion. Dynamic

wallpaper can be used on both the lock screen and the home screen and it

runs without touching the screen in a loop. Live wallpaper was only

capable of running on the lock screen and you had to touch the screen to

make it run. unfortunately you can't add your own dynamic wallpaper so

hopefully Apple will update with more choices in coming updates.

I had assumed since they hadn't updated it that the new SE didn't support live wallpaper either.

But, they have updated the article at least once since I posted, and the first gen SE doesn't support Live Wallpaper, but the second gen should.

iPhone XR and iPhone SE (1st generation) don't support Live Wallpaper.

Thanks for pointing that out.
