Reset

Macbook air purchased Christmas 2018 for my daughter. Has had multiple glitches and I thought I would factory reset. We are about 4hrs from the nearest Apple store. When I try to reinstall macOS from macOS Recover, I get a spinning globe and the progress bar does not move beyond a few millimetres. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

How long reinstall (factory reset)? hi every one. i really need your help. i just clean reinstall my macbook for the first time. it says 3 hours for completed. but, by the time... it increased become 103 hours, 98 hours, 71 hours, 78 hours, etc. like, really? 2019 MacBook Air setup stall I just purchased a new MacBook Air and completed the first few setup steps, but when I went to enter my Apple ID and password it stalled. It has been a spinning circle for hours. Is there a way to start over? Any ideas on what to do next? The “back” and “continue” links do not work and there is no power button.
