Why does apple shipping take so long during quarantine?

No, you are not alone. The COVID crisis has made a mess of shipping. Medical supplies have been getting priority. Factories in Asia had to shut down. If you did a "build-to-order" purchase, that takes longer.

If you ordered a CTO ( Configure to order) MacBook. That will make the wait times longer. That’s because the Apple computer you ordered will have to be modded to for fill your order.
