Air drop

My husband took a couple 30 minute videos of a party last night and we can't get them to Airdrop to me. His iphone 11 sees my iphone 11, but errors out every time. His phone does not see my MacBook Air. I would like them on my MacBook Air, but I'll settle for them on the phone. Also, my iphone can see my MacBook Air. Wifi is on, Bluetooth is on, Airdrop says 'Everyone." The videos on his iPhone also won't upload to DropBox (error). I've also restarted both phones.

I would love some help with this, thank you so much in advance.

The length of the videos is contributing to the problem. Longer videos are larger files.

Since you have a Mac, you can try Image Capture to copy the videos. https://support.apple.com/guide/image-capture/transfer-images-imgcp1003/mac

Hey Lyssa, thanks. My bad, I should have also said that I AirDropped from my iphone to my Mac, a video that was almost 2 hours with no issues.

It could be an issue with his phone, these specific videos, or some combination of the two.

Try Image Capture and we can troubleshoot further if that doesn't work.
