Doubts of hack attempt

Suddenly instagram and WhatsApp and other apps are blocked of any access to camera, photos, mic, contacts, etc..., and all conversations on whatsap was just without names.. there were phone numbers only, even friends couldn’t see my profile picture on WhatsApp as if they were blocked, even my contacts on the phone was just numbers without names, and all apps were requesting access , however i tried to allow access from settings but couldn’t find any activation button, i restarted my phone , then everything is back to normal.. the question is if my phone maybe was hacked, and if yes .. is my private date on my iPhone is safe or should i restore my iPhone.

If hacked, it was hacked very poorly wouldn't you think?

A device restart is a common troubleshooting step that resolves all sorts of unexplainable technical "hiccups" that are not signs of a hack. One occurrence is not a pattern.

There is likely more data about you on Instagram and Whatsapp's servers than on your phone.

Restoring your phone is maybe a step to take later in troubleshooting. Removing and reinstalling those apps is far less intrusive. Changing passwords the same.

Being security aware is wise and admirable, but not everything unexplainable or odd is a hack. You used the word "doubts" correctly in your title.
