iTunes 12.6.5.3 App download for Windows 7 is working again! Thanks, Apple!

As of May 24 2020, after weeks of the App download/update feature NOT working in iTunes 12.6.5.3 for Windows (7), it started working again! Thank you, Apple!

To my surprise today, the App download function in iTunes 12.6.5.3 for Windows started working again today! Apple must have been focusing all their resources on developing and releasing iOS 13.5 last week, so they didn't have time until this week to fix the iTunes App problem. Thanks for fixing it, Apple!

The App function in iTunes 12.6.5.3 is a highly critical and important function for many iPhone/iPad/iDevice users who buy and maintain multiple iDevices for themselves and their family members.

Please NEVER LOSE THE APP FUNCTION IN ITUNES, especially for your customers who invest in buying, not just one device, but are repeat customers who continue to invest in buying and needing to maintain multiple iPhones/iPads/iDevices. Thanks, Apple!

iTunes provides a much more comprehensive App update function than the update function on the iPhone itself! :-)

I ran the "update" function on the iPhone to try to keep it up-to-date, and as far as the iPhone was concerned, it was fully up-to-date. BUT, after the App function was restored in iTunes, I attached my family iPhones to my computer to check it again. There were so MANY MORE APPS that NEEDED UPDATES! iTunes started updating the iPhone with ALL of the missed Apps immediately, even though the iPhone only found a fraction of these updates before.

So if you truly want to update ALL the apps running on your iPhone to the latest App versions, you should update through iTunes, not via the iPhone/iPad itself.

Apple, this is another critical reason to keep the Apps function to continue to be fully functional in iTunes 12.6.5.3. Thanks, Apple! Have a nice holiday weekend.
