how does one find these required numbers if itunes does not have the info and the ipad does not start

My Ipad does not start after being charged. That is part of the issue. a part of the information that the site gives is go to itunes and you can look up your serial number and other required info on itunes. My ipad is not listed nor any of my items are listed...

bottom line is that my ipad will not start even after letting it charge for more than 30 minutes and then pressing the volume up and the volume down buttons followed by the pressing of the top button awaiting the Apple symbol to show. No show. i let it charge for another 30 minutes and then pressed the top button and home button on the bottom awaiting the Apple symbol to appear. Nothing doing.

I had tried these steps before yesterday and again today and they worked........................at least for an hour before the ipad screen went black.

What exact model iPad do you own? If as your signature suggests it's an iPad Air, the procedure you used to restart your iPad was incorrect, unless your iPad is one with Face ID. To restart an iPad with a home button, press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to power off) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go.
