two factor authentication missing from my iphone 11

I don't know see it as an option under

  1. Go to Settings and sign in, if necessary.
  2. Tap on your Apple ID.
  3. Tap Password & Security.
  4. Tap Turn On Two-Factor Authentication.

Hi Jason Li in Canada,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you don't see two-factor authentication as an option in Settings.

Have you used two-factor before?

Have you checked to see if it is available for your Apple ID on another device?

Have you restarted your iPhone 11? Restart your iPhone

Does this issue happen on another network connection?

Also see: Availability of two-factor authentication for Apple ID. Please note:

"While most iCloud users can now turn on two-factor authentication, certain account types may still be ineligible at Apple’s discretion."

If the issue continues, please Contact Apple Support.

Have a great day!
