Hello,

Well you have removed the only methods that I know to create a backup. I know of backing up to a computer and then I know of backing up to iCloud with requires WiFi (iCloud will not let you backup over cellular connections).

My answer, therefore, is that you need one or the other to create a backup file. You also need a valid Apple ID to create a backup on iCloud.
