Gaming on MacBook Pro 16” external SSD bootcamp. Only getting 15fps on Warzone help!!

So I’ve bought a new MacBook Pro 16” i9, 1tb SSD, 4gb raydeon gc, 64 gb ram. I’ve installed bootcamp on External SSD 256gb and use thunderbolt to connect.

im trying to play warzone on there.

couple of things. My MacBook gets extremely hot. Like where I think, I need to close Warzone down. And this is just in the lobby. I haven’t even started the game yet!!

ive done the Mac fan control and throttle stop and that hasn’t helped much.

secondly. When I do eventually play, I’m getting 15 FPS even when I have disabled most of the graphics feature.

is it the fact I’ve got it on external SSD?

someone please help as I’ve seen most people getting 60fps on YouTube etc.
