**Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were turned off before my watched was messed with... now my watch shows "too many passcode attempts have been made - reset Apple Watch and pair again."

I cannot turn Bluetooth and Wi-Fi back on because I cannot access my watch - I did try your suggestion of unpairing my watch and phone - then I received a message that it may not have unpaired and I was supposed to go to settings on my Apple Watch app to reset it... only when I did, it actually did unpair. So now I have a phone that doesn't recognize my Apple Watch and an Apple Watch I cannot reset. Is there a way to reset the Apple Watch when it is in this state?

If it doesn't work first time then turn wifi off on the watch and try again.

The watch talks to the phone via bluetooth so no bluetooth = no communication between watch and phone which is required to pair and set up.

Why is bluetooth disabled?.
