I would expect an idle iphone 6/7/8 on eifi bit with a fre emails etc to use about 15% per day just ticking iver

I don't know what to expect for newer ones

Using email in Mail app that has to fetch rather than push ( Gmail, Yahoo etc) may use more hence check battery stats
