iPhone XS boot loop issue

My phone is struck in boot loop and is running in following sequence.

1-> It displays apple logo for 5 seconds.

2-> Then the screen flashes (green/white lines).

3-> Then screen goes black for 5 seconds.

4-> Then apple logo appears for 5 seconds.

5-> Then screen goes black for 5 seconds.

6-> Repeats from step-1.

I am facing the issue for the 3rd time this month.

During first trouble- I had restore my iphone, and and after successfully restoring, the iphone ran the same boot loop for 45 minutes, before it turned on

During second trouble- the iphone ran same boot loop for 3 hours before it was useable.

this time (third time)- it has been more than 24 hours since i have restored my iphone, but is still struck in the boot loop.

is anyone else facing this problem? How do I take care of it.

(all the three times, the phone was working fine before it restated on its own and got struck in boot loop)

Hello gursharan161,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your question that your phone is stuck booting to the Apple logo. I can certainly help you with this!

This is the article you should reference:

If you have already done all of these steps, I would reach out to Apple Support for the next steps.

I hope this is able to resolve your issue. If you have any more questions or this does not resolve your issue, please reach back out on the thread!

Did your problem resolve itself?

Im having bootloop issues since updating in late May. I’ve found that there’s something faulty about how my XS Max behaves with “auto lock”.

for the time being, to make my phone mostly usable I’ve been turning off auto lock (as well as faceid and passcode), as that seems to be a huge source of crashing/rebooting for me since updating to 13.5 and 13.5.1 on my XS Max. Avoiding the reboots is almost impossible if your battery goes under 20% (auto lock is automatically greyed out at 30 seconds). You’ll inevitably crash again when you plug in your phone or put it in a Qi charger.

if you’re stuck in the boot loop after that, when the apple logo appears, tap in bottom section of the screen where the flashlight or camera buttons would be. If you time it right, you’ll activate the flashlight or camera and prevent the bootloop from happening.

It’s been a miserable 3 weeks for me with this problem.

it’s possible that there’s a real hardware issue, but it seems enough folks are experiencing that it’s not a coincidence.
