how do I change the width of a cell; freeze row 1, column A?

To change the width of a column:


Click on a cell to activate the table and show the column and row reference tabs.

Click on the tab for the column you want to change.

Place the pointer on the right boundary of the tab (see red arrow).

When the pointer changes to a vertical line, crossed by a horizontal line with arrows pointing left and right, click and drag the symbol left or right.


To change the height of a row:


Same process, using the row reference tabs to the left of the table.
