How do I save to flash drives form my MacBook Pro?
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro and it does not have a USB drive?

Apparently these don't (regular USB) - only Thunderbolt (USB-C):

Then you'd need to check into an adapter or cable from your external drive to the Macbook port - no idea what you have, but possibly a USB to USB 3.1 or USB-C.

Looks to me like those have USB ports. There are multiple versions of USB but they are all USB.

If I was trying to read a flash drive I would use a USB card reader connected to my computer's USB port.

Every MacBook Pro that I'm familiar with has USB drives. What model/year do you have?
True, but you still need an adapter - at least I do on my iMac's thunderbolt port.
