How can you unsubscribe from an app

You can go to Settings and go to the search bar and type subscriptions and click don’t renew

It looks like you've already unsubscribed from the app and it will expire May 30th, 2020.

When you go to subscriptions there is no "unsubscribe" or "don't renew" option - I have a 7 day free trial which I've got an email saying it will automaticall nenew for €19.99 for the year on 30 May 2020 until cancelled. I cannot see anywhere that I can cancel. I have contacted the app support team but they have offered no resolution.
How can you unsubscribe from an app
