Hi there, bridie000!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you have a black dot on the iPhone back camera. Check out this article If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working:

"If the camera isn't working

  1. Remove any case or film that might block the camera. A metallic or magnetic case or camera attachment might interfere with the camera on your device.
  2. Test the camera by trying to take a photo.
  3. If the photo is blurry, clean the front and back camera lenses with a microfiber cloth. If you see dirt or debris inside the lens or if the camera lens appears to be misaligned or blocked, contact Apple Support for help with your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch.
  4. Restart your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch
  5. Test the camera again by taking a photo. If your device has a front and rear camera, check if one or both isn’t working. To switch cameras, tap the rotate button ."

If you still have an issue after trying these steps, I would recommend reaching out to Apple directly by checking out this link to Contact Apple Support and they will be more than happy to proceed with additional steps.

Cheers!

Same problem: I have and iPhone 11 Pro since Dec'19. No damage, no case opening, nothing else.

A black blurred dot appeared some time ago on every my photo and video shot with main camera (1x). Neither external camera lens cleaning, nor reboot of the phone helps me. It seems, it is a factory problem with a dust inside.

For a weeks I can't get any offical advise or support.

I'm in Ukraine, the phone was purchased in China.
