I have a MacBook Air operating macOS Sierra 10.13.6 and FaceTime operating 4.0 (3080). But I cannot use Group FaceTime. Can this be solved?

I am sorry to say that what you have done is not answered thew question.
The link contains this:
If you're using macOS Mojave 10.14.3 (build 18D109) or later,
you can use Group FaceTime to chat with up to 32 people. Each person's
tile automatically increases in size whenever someone speaks.
So my questiin was not about macOS Mojave, but macOS Sierra.
As this is not referred to I assume that it does not support Group FaceTime.
I might assume that macOS Mojave is only avialble on certainMacBooks?
