Dual boot kali linux on MacBook model A1181

Hi Friends,I was installed kali Linux as dual boot in Mac but some reason I removed it.now I want to reinstall kali as dual boot and i was trying to install as dual boot in macbook white. And I made a bootable usb using disk maker.bash but when I plug usb in to the mac I can’t see any EFI boot disk by hold down the shift key it only shows the macbook hdd . I also tried refind bootloader,it showing usb disk but unfortunately it says “no bootable device found please insert a device and press any key” when I Boot into the usb. I was wondering the kali was installed before and worked verywell.. hope you guys will min me

Ok, thanks for confirming that your Kali USB drive isn't bootable. So you are able to boot using rEFInd? Macs can be very picky about the USB drives used for booting so try using another brand of USB stick. Plus the quality of USB sticks is very poor even for name brand products.

It is also possible your Kali .iso file has a problem or is corrupt. Maybe try downloading it again. You can also try creating a bootable Knoppix Linux USB drive or perhaps an Ubuntu (Kubuntu, Ubuntu Mate) or Linux Mint USB drive just to make sure everything else is working correctly and that the laptop can boot using the USB drive.

You may want to try an SMC reset and a PRAM reset (hold the PRAM reset for at least three chimes so it activates several times).

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Are you trying to make a bootable Kali USB installer, or are you trying to make the Kali installation on your dual boot drive bootable again, or are you trying to make macOS bootable again? Can you rephrase the question and clarify what is booting and what isn't booting? Also what happens when you try to boot the various operating systems or installers? Provide a picture of any errors.

Sorry if You confused ,I was succeeded creating bootable usb using different modes Eg:-DD,ETCHER,And DISKMAKER.bash all was successfull but in my mac when I hold down the shift key while booting I can’t see the usb stick it’s only showing the Mac OS X HDD. And also I installed reFind bootloader and found the usb, when I boot into it it shows “no bootable device found please insert a device and press any key”
