iPhone 7 and iPad 7th gen both have spinning wheel after the latest update. I am sick of this problem. Apple fixed it Now it’s broken again. Tired of the volume up/down screen on/off temp fix. Is there a better permanent fix?

On your 7th gen iPad,
Have you tried a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

Yes I did this on the iPad 7th gen and it worked. My frustration is the iPhone 7. I have to reset it everyday because it won’t stop spinning until I do the reset..Let me reiterate this was fixed now happening again after latest update. Thank you for your time.
