I have recently bought an iPhone11 for my partner. She used to have an iPhone 6. We have swapped everything over and put a new Micro SIM card into her new phone11. However her 11 does not take calls or txt messages. Her iPhone 6 still takes the calls and txt messages. If she turns the iPhone 6 off, then she can’t take calls at all. How can we stop her iPhone 6 from taking the calls

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with the new iPhone 11. It sounds like it is not activated with your carrier.
You may be able to put the old iPhone 6 SIM into the iPhone 11 and start service: Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad. Otherwise, you will need to contact your carrier.
