iPhone purchase in Europe

I lost my iPhone in Germany and will most likely buy a new one here. Will there be any potential issues when I bring it to the States? Often I travel between US and Europe and changing the SIM chip from a European carrier back to Verizon works fine. However, I have always bought my iPhones in the States. Does it matter if I buy it here in Germany?

Buying iphone abroad Hi guys. I’ve had an Android for the last 2 years, and it’s made me realise how much I miss my iPhone. Anyway.... I’m going to New York next year, and I thought it would be cool to treat myself to an iPhone 11 pro while I’m there. I’m assuming an unlocked phone, direct from the Apple store will work with a UK SIM. My other concern is, if it’s faulty, can I take it to an Apple store in the UK, or does buying a iPhone abroad just over complicate things? Thanks 🙂

Make sure the one you purchase in Germany is a model that is supported by Verizon. Purchase direct from Apple, and it must be an unlocked model.

The warranty will only be valid in the country of purchase.
