When entering our proxy server, it reverts to None after saving changes. This works on our older iOS devices but not on our 6th gen ipad with iOS 13.5. It doesn't matter whether I use the DNS name or the IP address. Again, either works on other devices.
I upgraded from iOS 13.4 to 13.5 and consequently rebooted. No change.
The proxy address is entered manually. We don't use PAC.

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
