Change Apple Id
I wanted to merge apple IDs for two devices. I therefore deleted one account but now it requires password for deleted account what should I do?

You can't merge Apple IDs. Did you delete the account using How to Delete your Apple ID Account https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208504. If yes, you may be able to recover the account. There was no point to deleting it.
From the link above, “While your request is being processed, you can contact Apple Support with the unique alphanumeric access code you received, and we’ll help you cancel your [deletion] request. After your account is deleted, Apple can't cancel the request, reopen your account, or restore your data.”
Please explain exactly what you are doing when you get the request for the password of the deleted account.
