MacBook dead battery

My MacBook has a dead battery. It will not charge. Can I still use it with power adapter? 2015 model. I can’t get it to come on.

Hi,

No, there is no trick, just connect charger to MacBook, that's all.

If your MacBook Pro doesn't boot up, try to Reset SMC which could solve the issue.

Hi,

I think it's OK to use your MacBook Pro with dead battery, though you should replace battery while it's available.

I'm using MacBook with charger which has dead battery without any problem.
